The Outstanding Alumna/us Award is given to an alumna/us who has made significant achievements and gained prominence in his or her personal and professional life. Awards are made annually at Reunion Weekend. This award need not be conferred every year and there is no restriction on the number of recipients to which this award can be presented in any one year. Service to the Alumni Association and or Queens is not criteria for this award.
The Alumni Service Awards is presented to an alumna/us who best embodies Queens’ motto:
“Not to be served, but to serve.” Recipients will be chosen on the basis of above average
service and contributions to the work of the Alumni Association and Queens. Awards will be made
annually at Reunion Weekend. This award need not be conferred every year and there is no
restriction on the number of recipients to which this award can be presented in any one year.
Alumni currently serving on the Alumni Board of Directors shall be ineligible.
The citation of Honorary Alumna/us is awarded to a recipient outside the Alumni Association in recognition of devoted service and in appreciation of his or her unique relationship with the Queens community. Awards will be made annually at Reunion Weekend. This award need not be conferred every year and there is no restriction on the number of recipients to which this award can be presented in any one year.
