Chamber Singers in Washington, D. C. - March 2008

CHAMBER SINGERS
A select chamber choral ensemble that performs for university and community functions.  Admission by audition only; repertoire includes secular and sacred choral works designed for smaller, chamber groups from the fifteenth through the twentieth centuries.  Tours annually. FALL CONCERT:  October 22, 2008 at 8pm in Belk Chapel

CHARLOTTE CONCERT BAND
This ensemble is open to all university students and community musicians by permission of instructor.  Repertoire includes standard band literature with a concert scheduled each semester.  Click here for more information on the Charlotte Concert Band. CHORALE
Performs for major university concerts on campus and several church worship services in the community.  Open to all students who enjoy and are able to sing.  Repertoire includes secular and sacred choral works from the fifteenth through the twentieth century. FALL CONCERT: October 22, 2008 at 8pm in Belk Chapel

FLUTE ENSEMBLE
This ensemble studies and perfoms literature for flute and other woodwind instruments.  They are featured on Student Recitals and the annual Boar's Head Dinner.

ROYAL SHOWSTOPPERS
Work from standard repertoire and perform at campus and community events as needed for public relations and entertainment purposes to satisfy particular needs of the university.  Sang at the dedication of the world largest standing lion sculpture at the Queens University of Charlotte Sports Complex on September 27,  2007!

QUEENS COMMUNITY ORCHESTRA
This ensemble is open to all university students and community musicians by permission of instructor. Repertoire includes literature for string orchestra with a concert scheduled each semester. Next Concert:  Monday, December 8, 2008 at 8pm in Dana Auditorium
