Queens annual shortbread sale to benefit library improvements Order tins of Scottish shortbread and cheese biscuits now for great holiday gift-giving Charlotte, N.C. (Oct. 27, 2009) – The Friends of the Library at Queens is excited to announce the return of the annual Shortbread Sale, a fundraiser for the Everett Library at Queens University of Charlotte.
Last year’s sale of tins of Scottish shortbread and cheese biscuits provided more than $6,000 for technology upgrades to the library. This year’s event features 16-ounce tins of Scottish Shortbread or Cheese Biscuits for $20 each. Or, order a case of 12 tins of either shortbread or cheese biscuits for $220, which includes a free tin.
