WHO: CYPRESS STRING QUARTET

WHAT: Widely celebrated for the power of its performances and its passionate dedication to the genre, the CYPRESS STRING QUARTET combines technical precision with imaginative programming to create unforgettable concert experiences. ). The Cypress Quartet takes its name from the set of twelve love songs for string quartet, "The Cypresses", by Antonin Dvorak.

This season, the Friends of Music at Queens introduces Pre-Concert Dinners with lecture prior to each performance. Dinner will be served in Claudia Belk Dining Room in the Trexler Students Center on campus at 6:30 p.m. The cost of dinner is $30. Maestro James Meena of Opera Carolina will be the guest lecturer on November 14th. The last dinner sold-out, so be sure to reserve your place NOW!
