Queens University of Charlotte is the host to a number of summer camps and conferences including the Brad Hoover Football Camp, CMS Teachers Workshop, Queens Athletic Camps, Tomorrow's America Conferences and Explore! Camps. We offer our residence halls for overnight camps and conferences. Our meeting spaces range from small break out rooms for 15 to a large auditorium for 1,000. EXPLORE! Camps June 8 - August 2, 2008 Explore! educational camps offer full and half day camps for children of all ages (pre K - 10th grade) with a variety of interests in art, music, technology, cooking, and more. Many of the most popular and favorite camps are back again, including American Girl Doll Camp, Video Game Development, Chess, Battle of the Bands, and Vets in Training. Sports International Football Camps Brad Hoover Camp, June 14 – 18, 2008 Sports International hand selects only the most knowledgeable and experienced individuals, college and high school football coaches, and NFL players to host each youth football camp, so that you will have the most rewarding Football Camp experience possible. Each NFL player will bring in additional football players and coaches from their NFL team to work with our outstanding football coaching staff. You will learn individual football and team techniques from Top NFL Players and coaches that get right "down in the dirt" and coach while they are in football camp. It does not matter what football position you play such as Quarterback, Running Back, or Offensive Lineman, this camp is for you! Royal School of Church Music June 23 - 29, 2008 The Royal School of Church Music in America Charlotte Training Course will be offered at Queens University of Charlotte and Myers Park Baptist Church. Boys, girls, and teens ages 10-18 with formal choir experience and the ability to match pitch are welcome to join the course. Adults, especially choir directors, are also welcome. This year, the director is Mr. James Litton, Director Emeritus of the American Boychoir School.
