The two-week "La Dolce Vita" study tour will focus on the Italian experience in Rome and Florence. Participants will explore the history and culture of Rome, including the magnificent Colosseum, the Forum, St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican, the Pantheon, the Villa Borghese, colorful markets, the fascinating Roman piazzas and picturesque narrow streets and lanes, and the wonderful Italian food. Comfortable and compact Renaissance Florence, preeminently the city of art, will offer some of the world's greatest art treasures, monuments, galleries, and museums, plus more wonderful Italian food and Vivoli's gelato.

- For participants who pay their own expenses, the cost — inclusive except for most lunches and dinners and personal expenses — is $2100.
- This study tour departs the afternoon of December 26 and returns January 9, at the beginning of Spring Term classes.
- The required prep course will meet 4:35–5:50 on Thursday afternoons during the Fall Term.
- The $250 Belk Program deposit is payable in two installments of $125 due on August 25 and September 20.
