| CHARLOTTE, N.C. (October 22, 2009) - On Saturday, October 10, ASN student Desiree Paratore was a featured vocal soloist at the Ciao, Italia! Festival in the Wachovia Atrium. This event is sponsored by the Christopher Columbus Italian Club of Charlotte. Desiree performed several songs, singing in both English and Italian. Although she has previously studied piano, she has recived no formal voice instruction. In addition to several solo numbers, she also performed a beautiful duet with her fiance. Her nursing instructors in attendance recognize her for a job well done! |
