The mission of the Queens University of Charlotte Class Agent program is to promote lasting relationships among the class agents, their classmates, and their alma mater, by encouraging alumni participation and support for the financial stability of the university.

The job description for an agent is as follows:

• During a Reunion year, class agents will be responsible for working with their Reunion Class Committee to promote reunion attendance and participation in the Reunion Class Gift.
• Agents make a gift to The Queens Fund, regardless of size.
• Agents encourage classmates to make their gift to The Queens Fund.
• They assist in the organization of their class Phonathon. The class agent committee will be responsible for recruiting classmates to help them make calls.
• Agents write and send an e-mail solicitation letter twice a year or a traditional mailed letter.  The Office of Annual Giving will provide a sample class letter which can be adapted or used as is. 
• Agents write thank you notes as appropriate.
• They work as liaisons between classmates and the Office of Annual Giving. As class agents, they will have direct contact with their classmates; as they raise concerns, make suggestions or express interest in being involved. Agents will encourages alumni participation in programs.


Class Reporter(s)


The mission of the Queens University of Charlotte Class Reporter program is to promote lasting relationships among the reporters, their classmates, and their alma mater, by encouraging alumni to stay in touch with Queens and participate in alumni programming and events.

The job description for a reporter is as follows:

• During a Reunion year, reporters will be responsible for working with the Reunion Class Committee to promote attendance and participation in the Reunion Class Gift.
• Reporters communicate with classmates once a year to gather Class Notes for the Queens Magazine. Class Notes are one of the best ways for classmates to stay connected to one another and to Queens. When a new deadline is assigned, reporters will receive a packet of materials from the Office of Alumni Programs guiding them on the collection and editing process.  
• Reporters update the Office of Alumni Programs with any address, name or career changes from classmates. This is very important to Queens in keeping our alumni database current.
• Reporters work as liaisons between their classmates and the Office of Alumni Programs. Reporters have direct contact with classmates and as they raise concerns, make suggestions or express interest in being involved, it is the reporter’s job to communicate these needs to the Office of Alumni Programs. 
• Reporters should attend all the University events they can, and encourage participation among their classmates.
