The Nurse Aide I Training Program prepares students to provide respected healthcare services in a field that is in high demand. It also helps those that are pursuing a career in nursing to meet the requirements for admission to area schools of nursing. This course consists of both classroom and clinical training and is open to individuals in the community as well as to those entering the Presbyterian School of Nursing program at Queens University of Charlotte and other area nursing programs. At the end of this course students will have a comprehensive written exam in preparation for their state certification exam. The state certification exam is scheduled by students independently of the training program and is not included in the course costs. All instructors are experienced RN’s and possess at a minimum of a BSN degree. For more information call Pennie Cooke, Executive Assistant at 704.337.2251 or email cookep@queens.edu.
