Queens University of Charlotte invites applications for a one-year Instructor position in the Foreign Language Department teaching Spanish, beginning August 2008.
We seek a candidate with a passion for teaching undergraduate students in a liberal arts environment. The successful candidate will be able to teach a variety of courses across the Spanish spectrum from the general education level to the advanced language and literature courses. A focus in Latin American literature is preferred, although other areas will be considered. A masters degree required; a PhD. is preferred.

Queens University of Charlotte invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions in Nursing beginning August 2008.
The Presbyterian School of Nursing at Queens is a unique, dynamic School, currently building on a rich history with dynamic growth. We offer the ASN, BSN, and MSN degrees to a total of almost 500 students, with graduate specialties in Health Services Administration, Education, and Faith Community Nursing. A Clinical Nurse Leader track will open in August.
Presbyterian School of Nursing at Queens is the largest private producer of RNs in North Carolina and benefits from a dedicated endowment of over $11 million. Programs are located on two urban campuses including one with a state-of-the-art patient simulation lab. Qualifications:
PhD in Nursing preferred. MSN and doctorate in a related field will be considered.
License or eligibility for licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina
Minimum two years experience in clinical nursing.
One candidate must have expertise in adult health / medical-surgical nursing.
One candidate should have significant experience teaching in an RN-to-BSN curriculum.
Principal teaching responsibilities for both positions will be in the BSN and MSN programs.
Candidates who are “ABD” will be considered.
