Transcript Ordering Information
Current and former students may order Official Transcripts via the Queens University of Charlotte website and the National Student Clearinghouse.
- Current Students may order Official Transcripts by linking to the National Student Clearinghouse website or through the myQueens portal. Make certain that you use your Queens email address (Qmail) when completing your National Student Clearinghouse profile.
- Former students may order Official Transcripts by linking to the National Student Clearinghouse website.
If this is your first time ordering a transcript from the National Student Clearinghouse be informed that this is a secure site. You will be asked to create a profile to receive a password which can be used for additional orders.
Remember that it takes 5-7 business days to process an Official Transcript. In peak periods, allow 10-12 business days for processing.
If you have an outstanding financial obligation with the University, a transcript cannot be issued. If you think that you may have an outstanding financial obligation contact Student Financial Services. Current students contact SFS at 704-337-2322. Former students should contact SFS at 704-337-2500. It is your responsibility to inform the Office of the Registrar when your account has been cleared.
There is currently a National Student Clearinghouse fee of $2.25 per recipient (to whom the transcript is being sent). The fee is charged per recipient regardless of the number of transcripts ordered. There is an additional Queens processing fee of $5.00 added for each transcript requested no matter the number of recipients. If you have both Presbyterian and Queens transcripts only one transcript fee will be charged.
Both current and former students may order Unofficial Transcripts via the web through Queens.
- Current Students may order Unofficial Transcripts through the myQueens portal or the website.
- Former students may order Unofficial Transcripts by completing a Transcript Request Form.
OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS: Generally issued to academic institutions, governmental agencies, or employers. Official Transcripts bear the university seal and the Registrar’s signature. Official transcripts are issued only to an academic institution, governmental agency or employer, and NOT directly to a student. Official Transcripts are issued to the institution—in care of the student ONLY if it is to be included as part of a self-managed application packet. The transcript will be placed in a sealed envelope which may not be opened by the student. Official Transcripts cannot be issued if there is any financial obligation due to the University.
UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS Issued to the student (for advising, insurance records, etc.). An unofficial transcript bears no seal or other certifying marks and is stamped "Unofficial". Unofficial transcripts may be issued directly to the student. Unofficial Transcripts cannot be issued if there is any financial obligation due to the University. Unofficial Transcripts are available on demand. However, during peak periods it may take as long as 5-7 working days to process the request. There is NO CHARGE for Unofficial Transcripts at this time.
You may request an Unofficial Transcript by printing the Transcript Request Form, completing it, signing it (your natural signature -- electronic signatures are not acceptable) and returning it to:

Please give the following information so that you can be correctly identified:
- Name used while attending Queens (maiden or other)
- Social Security Number
- Date of Birth
- Dates of Attendance (approximate)
- College Attended (New College/Hayworth/ASN, College of Arts & Sciences, McColl School)
- Complete address of the receiving school, institution or governmental agency, include the name of the specific person or office, if any
- YOUR NATURAL SIGNATURE is required; computer generated signatures are not acceptable
- Daytime phone number contact information
- Current working e-mail address; an e-mail will be sent when the transcript request has been processed
