Students in the School of Communication choose to focus their studies in either Organizational Communication, Relational Communication, Sport Communication, Media Studies, or Journalism.
MAJOR IN COMMUNICATION
Requirements for the major in Communication are completion of the prerequisite requirements (9 hours), core requirements (15 hours), and completion of a major program of study (18 hours) for a total of 42 hours toward the communication major.

Students applying for entry to the major should have at least a 2.2 GPA with no grades below C- in the prerequisite courses

The Journalism program is currently under revision for current and future students who entered during or after Fall 2009.
