Peer Resource Orientation participants are better known as "PROs." Selectively chosen sophmores, juniors, and seniors represent Queens during Orientation and help orient new students to life at Queens ...socially and academically. During Orientation, PROs help new students navigate their first days on campus as they settle in residence halls, meet with fellow classmates, professors, and University offices and administrators. PROs provide important on-campus information and hold Q & A sessions... from a student perspective! In addition, Queens PRO's provide ongoing support to first year students thoughout the year!
PROs arrive on campus prior to Orientation, undergo training and get ready to meet our new students on the 20th of August, which marks the beginning of Orientation 2009!
