                       Kappa Delta Sorority was founded at the State Female Normal School
                                       in Farmville, Virginia on October 23, 1897.
 
                      Originally the Zeta Kappa Gamma local sorority, the Alpha Omicron 
                       Chapter of Kappa Delta was founded at Queens in October of 1928.
