Director of Residence Life

Thom Shepard has been the Director of Residence Life at Queens for over six years.  He has previously worked in Residence Life at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, State University of New York at Cobleskill, and Cazenovia College.  He is responsible for both the programmatic and housing aspects to the program.  In addition to his responsibilities in Residence Life, Thom is the Chief Judicial Officer for the traditional undergraduates at Queens.  As part of that role, he advises the Campus Judicial Board.  He is also a member of the Student Support Team.  When Thom is not at work, he enjoys playing tennis and volleyball and supporting our Carolina Panthers.  Stop by and say hi; his office is located in Morrison 221.



                            
Associate Director of Residence Life

Audancie Constant has worked as the Associate Director for Residence Life for 3 years. Her previous experience in Residence Life ranges from Seton Hall, Columbia University, Barnard College and SUNY Geneseo. Audancie graduated from Geneseo with a Master of Science in Student Personnel Administration. Besides overseeing 8 Resident Assistants in Wireman, Audancie manages housing assignments and room changes. She also serves as an advisor on the Senior Year Experience Committee. In her free time, Audancie works as a Mary Kay consultant. She enjoys cooking, dancing, and learning about different cultures and religions. Her biggest interest is spending time with her three year old son Quincey! Audancie’s office is located in Morrison 219 and she looks forward to students stopping by anytime!



Residence Coordinator

Nicole Ayala has been a Residence Coordinator at Queens for 3 years. She graduated from Queens with a degree in Psychology. Nicole oversees 8 Resident Assistants in Albright, Hayes, and North. In addition to her responsibilities in Residence Life, Nicole serves as an advisor for the Campus Union Board (CUB) and an organizer for the Hurricane Katrina Relief Team. In her free time, Nicole enjoys playing with her dog, Father Mckenzie and dancing. Nicole is a certified Jazzercise instructor at the Cornwell Center. Nicole’s office is located in Morrison 204 and her door is always open!






Residence Coordinator

Sarrin Warfield is the newest addition to the Residence Life staff. Sarrin graduated from Furman University with a degree in communication studies.  Her background in communications made her an excellent event coordinator and sales manager before she started a real estate company with her husband. Sarrin’s passion for mentoring students brought her to join the residence life team as the new Residence Coordinator here. Sarrin oversees eight resident assistants in Barnhardt, Belk and West. In her spare time, Sarrin loves spending time with her husband, and playing with her dog Cali! Sarrin is currently training for her first triathlon this fall! Sarrin is very excited about joining Queen’s residence life team. Her office is located in Morrison 208, and she would love it if you stopped by and said hello!
