Graduate Program at Queens Builds Meaningful Relationships
On Saturday, Feb. 25, members of the Master of Science in Talent & Organization Development (MSTOD) community gathered on the Queens University of Charlotte campus to mingle and engage in professional development sessions as part of this year’s MSTOD residency. This semi-annual experience is an integral part of the MSTOD graduate program, allowing new students to build a foundation for success early in their studies through customized sessions and relational experiences.
For current students, alumni, faculty, staff, and members of the MSTOD Board of Advisors, the residency offers opportunities to both network and learn. From participating in a lively speed networking event to developing a personal career plan, participants are supported in their continuous development and engagement by the entirety of the MSTOD community. A number of program alumni supported the October and February residencies during the 2022-23 academic year by speaking on panels or leading sessions. Some participants included Alfredo Azpurua ’21, CaSondra Devine ’13, JC Fedorczyk ’19, Danielle Frottier ’19, Erin Gaeckle, ’22, Holly Milanese ’18, Alison Mitchell ’21, Paul Joyce ’12, Terrie Reeves ’21, Wayne Sykes ’18, and Darryl White Sr. ‘21.
As part of the residencies, the first-ever MSTOD Community Awards were presented to individuals who have consistently been generous with their time and resources to build and support the community.
