The Vandiver Center for Career Development (VCCD) supports Queens students in everything from career exploration, internships, and jobs to graduate school planning. We use a holistic approach to prepare students for their future.

By developing relationships with employers, we develop programs and courses aligned with what employers want. Our career coaches are experts in the top industries and provide specialized career services. As a result, students are able to see how their skills, desires, and goals line up with the latest industry trends.
The following are some of the programs and curricula we offer:
- Employer taught professional development curriculum. Students are taught by university relations recruiters and learning/development professionals representing Novant Health, Duke Energy, etc.
- Industry-specific networking events.
- Employer mock interviews.
- Employer collaborations on career prep workshops.
- Industry-specific coaching.
We serve not only undergrads and graduate students but also Queens alumni. In fact, alums receive services for life at no cost.
