RoyalUp is a direct admissions pathway that gives Central Piedmont students early access to Queens — from campus life to personalized advising — creating a confident, connected transition into your bachelor’s degree.

Through this program, you’ll experience life as a Queens student while completing your associate degree at Central Piedmont Community College, building the momentum and support you need for a smooth, seamless transfer.

Optional Add-On Experiences
If you want to get even more connected to the Queens community, RoyalUp offers optional paid add-ons you can choose based on your interests and schedule.
Campus Access Pass
Get a Queens ID and access to key campus spaces such as the Everett Library, the Levine Center for Wellness and Recreation, and select student-life areas.
On-Campus Housing
Live in Queens residence halls by paying the standard housing rate. Immerse yourself in community life, build friendships, and experience the campus environment early.
Meal Plan Options
Add a dining plan for convenient access to Queens dining locations — perfect if you’re spending more time on campus for studying, fitness, or events.
These add-ons are flexible and fully optional. You choose how much of the Queens experience you want while completing your associate degree.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the RoyalUp Program, you must:
- Be a first-time, full-time college student
- Be pursuing an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science at Central Piedmont
- Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA
- Plan to pursue a major offered at Queens (excluding nursing)
- Complete an audition if pursuing Music or Music Therapy
If your intended major falls outside of these guidelines, speak with your Central Piedmont advisor to explore alternate transfer pathways to Queens.
How to Enroll
Enroll at Central Piedmont Community College
Become a degree-seeking CPCC student, then let your academic advisor know you’re interested in RoyalUp.
Submit the RoyalUp Interest Form or Apply
Submit the RoyalUp Interest Form, or apply through the Queens visiting student application, to activate program benefits and optional add-ons.
Watch for Next Steps
The Queens admissions team will review your information and email instructions on how to take full advantage of the program.
Program Requirements
To remain in good standing with the program, RoyalUp students must:
- Stay enrolled in an Associate of Arts or Science program at CPCC
- Maintain good academic and disciplinary standing
- Declare an intended Queens major after earning 30 transferable credits
