A volunteer group comprised of local community members who support and enhance the academic, co-curricular, athletic, and cultural life of Queens.
Mission
The Queens University of Charlotte Board of Visitors engages community members to support and enhance the academic, co-curricular, athletic, and cultural life of the university.
Members
The Queens University of Charlotte Board of Visitors is composed of community members who have an active interest in supporting students, faculty, and staff by furthering the university’s strategic plans and positive impact on greater Charlotte.

Expectations and Responsibilities
- Serve as an ambassador and advocate by promoting university programs to external audiences. Provide feedback on university communications and engagement.
- Support the university each year with a gift to the Queens Fund. Advocate for peers to invest in priorities outlined in the Strategic Framework.
- Attend one meeting each year. Meetings take place annually and additional optional social gatherings exist.
- Attend and support programs sponsored by Athletics, Belk Chapel, the Learning Society, Arts at Queens, Friends of the Library, the Sarah Belk Gambrell Center for the Arts and Civic Engagement, the Stan Greenspon Holocaust and Social Justice Education Center, the Pulliam Center for International Education, or other departments and offices.
- Term of service is three years. Board members may repeat one additional term of service for a potential total of six consecutive years on the Board of Visitors.
