The Queens Community Lives Out the Motto, “Not to Be Served, but to Serve”
On Friday, January 12, students, faculty, staff and alumni joined together in the Levine Center at Queens to live out the motto, “Not to be served, but to serve,” by volunteering their time to support several local nonprofits and organizations for the Royals Days of Service.
The event was a culmination of on and off campus service events that occurred throughout the week in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s memory

Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch Discuss Global Issues with Students at Queens.Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan Marie Yovanovitch recently visited Queens University of Charlotte for an engaging discussion in which she shared compelling stories of the challenges and triumphs from her diplomatic career, as captured in her book, “Lessons From the Edge.”
Queens Homecoming on February 2 & 3.Join us back on campus for one even or the whole weekend! Highlights include Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday, a basketball double-header on Saturday, and an Eats on East scavenger hunt. Women’s basketball tipoff is 1:00 p.m. vs. Austin Peay followed by a FanFest before the 4:00 p.m. tipoff of men’s basketball vs. Bellarmine. The first 75 alumni to purchase tickets to the game will receive a Queens cup.
