Scholarships

At Queens University, our students have the opportunity to receive a variety of financial scholarships. Funds are awarded for a range of achievements, disciplines, and student populations.

Merit-Based Scholarships

Merit-based scholarships are designed to support students with a strong record of academic excellence, achievement in extracurricular activities, and competitive admissions applications. At Queens, our admissions application also serves as the application for merit-based scholarships.

We consider all applicants for merit scholarships automatically, regardless of your financial circumstances.

Additional Scholarships

Charlotte Talent Initiative

The Charlotte Talent Initiative (CTI) is a cohort-based career pipeline program for Charlotte area students in partnership with Ally Financial and Lowe’s Companies, Inc. Students in this program receive mentorship from the sponsoring organization, enhanced skills relevant to the industry and specific organization, unique out-of-class opportunities, and support from a dedicated Queens team.

CPCC Presidential Scholarship

This full-tuition scholarship is awarded annually to one traditional transfer student from CPCC who demonstrates superior academic and leadership achievement.

Legacy Scholarships

Children, grandchildren, or siblings of enrolled students or previous Queens graduates may be eligible for additional funds.

Outside Scholarships

These are gifts that come from organizations like churches, foundations, and community groups. At Queens, you can stack outside scholarships on top of any university awards you receive. For more information, visit our Outside Scholarships webpage.
