Stephanie Stenglein, CFRE
Biography
Stephanie Stenglein is the associate executive director for Arts+ in Charlotte, NC. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization and is a member of the leadership team. In her role, Stephanie is responsible for managing all aspects of revenue generation including strategic planning, donor stewardship, and securing individual, corporation, and foundation gifts. In addition, she also oversees Arts+ marketing and communication efforts, finance, HR, and technology.
Stephanie came to the Arts+ in October 2011 with significant fundraising experience in both education and the arts, most recently with the Charlotte Symphony as the annual campaign and patron information manager. Prior to the Symphony, she was director of annual giving for Queens University of Charlotte and fundraising event coordinator for the AIDS Council of Gaston County.
Stephanie is a designated Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), holds a master’s degree in public administration with a nonprofit management concentration from UNC Charlotte, and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Georgia. Stephanie is an adjunct faculty member at Queens University of Charlotte, teaching in the arts leadership and administration track. She is a past president of the Charlotte Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, volunteers with the Humane Society of Charlotte and is the President of the Historic Camp Greene Neighborhood Association. In addition, Stephanie is AFP Charlotte’s 2019 Outstanding Fundraising Executive and 2014 Emerging Philanthropist along with being named one of the Charlotte Business Journal’s 2016 40 under 40.
