Studying history at Queens will equip you with valuable skills for almost any future professional endeavor. Everything has a history, and a degree from our department makes a great combination with many other majors and minors.
At Queens, history students join our award-winning faculty as they use innovative research tools and techniques to explore the past. The history department believes in learning by doing, and history students have multiple opportunities to engage in research and collaborate with community partners.
Every history student at Queens who maintains a GPA of 3.0 or above is eligible for our Preyer History Fellowship, which offers special financial support and funded professional experiences, such as travel, research, conferences, paid assistantships and internships, networking events, and more.
