“The Executive Leadership Institute paired me with a great coach – one who really, really (not sort of) knows my reality of having lived in Asia for years, returned to the U.S. to lead a North American organization, while working for a European parent company. She has become a safe yet challenging “sparring partner” who helps me work through many of the complex issues I face. Our regular meeting cadence has been invaluable – helping me pause, reflect, learn, and apply lessons about myself and how I engage those around me.” – Head of Sales & Marketing, Global Manufacturing Company

Are you interested in building coaching capabilities within your company? Our coaching faculty is prepared to design and deliver a tailored coaching training program for your organization. Our workshops typically involves the transfer and practice of three or more of these six core coaching skills:

  • Listening for Understanding
  • Reframing
  • Asking Powerful Questions
  • Providing Feedback
  • Providing Insights
  • Developing Support

Give us a call and we’ll help you scope out an approach that serves your unique needs and goals.

“We sought out Queens’ ELI to create a two-day coaching skills program for a dozen new internal coaches. We were delighted with what ELI designed and delivered. The team at Queens collaborated with us to tailor the content to our needs. What they delivered was fantastic. The format included a lot of individual and group skills practice with real-time feedback from ELI’s master coaches. It was a highly engaging and impactful program for all our participants.” – Director, Executive Development, Automotive Service Company

On the surface, group coaching is an appealing proposition. It’s both time- and cost-efficient (Thornton, C.). But quality group coaching requires a specially qualified coach. Think about it, not only does the coach need mastery in the fundamental coaching competencies, but she also needs competence in facilitation and interpersonal and group dynamics (Bennett, J.).

ELI has many capable group coaches – coaches with the competencies mentioned above. Give us a call to help you determine if the conditions are “ripe” for a fruitful group or team coaching engagement.

In ELI, we like to say that executive coaching creates the “stickiness” of true behavior change. In the classroom, participants will experience different modalities of learning, but may not have a specific resource to guide them through applying principles learned in the classroom to their exact scenario at work – this is where coaching comes in!

We encourage one-on-one coaching in all of our leadership development programs for this reason. Our experienced coaches operate as a part of our team and are (and will be) familiar with the material being discussed in the classroom, becoming an even better resource for participants.

“My executive coaching journey began with our Leadership Development Program, which offered a structured yet flexible approach. I immediately connected with my coach both personally and professionally, which allowed me to delve deeper into how the business challenges were impacting me. With my coach’s support, I explored the program content and it’s application to my role while also tackling current business challenges. I decided to extend my coaching engagement beyond the program to continue to navigate the business challenges I faced while also enhancing my leadership skills, and my coach was the exact resource I needed to extend my impact within my organization.”
