Biography

She has a passion for teaching working at Queens as well as Austin Peay State University in Tennessee and the University of South Carolina. During her time at USC she served on several committees as well as a student advisor. Her research interests look at the ways in which technology extends and modifies the processes of human communication. She is interested in how people use digital media and how these technologies become integrated into, and ultimately shape, their users daily. She finds interest in how social media has forced society to change the way we communicate and how these changes will impact us in the future.

She has taught a variety of courses, including Integrated Strategic Communication, Organizational Communication, Social Media and Audience, Public Speaking, Media and Society, Online Communication, and Media Institutions.

As a military spouse, she has had the chance to live in many places and looks forward to new adventures.
