Faculty and staff across the Queens University of Charlotte campus are committed to student success and well-being. Students are encouraged to take advantage of the many resources available that are designed to help them figure out how to navigate the campus, work through challenges they are facing inside and outside the classroom, and identify opportunities that will allow them to have the most enriching and transformative experience possible during their time at Queens.

Student Accessibility Services

Student Accessibility Services (SAS) is located in the Center for Student Success (CSS) on the first floor of Knight-Crane Hall. SAS works with students to ensure their experience at Queens is as accessible and inclusive as possible. Students who have a disability that may impact their academic or campus life experience and those who have used accommodations in the past should connect with SAS to talk about what accessibility support can look like for them.

Center for Student Success

The Center for Student Success (CSS) provides support services to maximize students’ learning and prepare them to succeed at Queens and beyond. CSS blends academic advising, accessibility services, student success mentorship, writing support, and peer tutoring to better serve the campus community. CSS provides these free services to all students as part of their academic experience at Queens.

Health & Wellness Center

The Queens University Health & Wellness Center provides high-quality, confidential health care delivered by Atrium Health. The health center is located at 2322 Wellesley Avenue, directly beside the Barnhardt Residence Hall (look for the teal front door), so students can easily access medical services without leaving campus. Appointments can be made 24/7 by visiting MyAtriumHealth.org (online scheduling available after the first visit) or by calling the health center at 704-337-2220. Students do not pay any out-of-pocket costs for services they receive at the health center. These services are covered by student fees.

The Queens University Counseling Center offers individual or group sessions with clinically trained licensed counselors. Individual private sessions are available for treating mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and stress. During the academic year, students can receive up to 10 individual counseling sessions per semester at no cost. To schedule an appointment, call 704-337-2556 or email QUCounseling@AtriumHealth.org.

Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) works to ensure the living, learning, and working environment is accessible, equitable, and inclusive for all Queens students, staff, and faculty. The Office of DEI partners with departments across campus to offer learning opportunities and to implement initiatives designed to foster supportive and affirming campus spaces. The Office of DEI also supports students, staff, and faculty who are navigating structural barriers or interpersonal dynamics that feel inaccessible, inequitable, or exclusionary.

Office of Civil Rights and Title IX
