Exercise & Sports Sciences
Real-world Experiences, Mentorship, Access to our Growing Professional Sports Community
How are elite athletes different? What types of training best prepares endurance athletes versus sprinters? How do you get your body to perform to the best of its abilities? The exercise and sports science major at Queens University of Charlotte encourages you to dig into questions like these as you examine the science of human movement. Our students also benefit from the numerous opportunities in the Charlotte region, which is home to four professional sports organizations – NASCAR, the Panthers, the Hornets, and Charlotte FC – as well as multiple minor league teams and a thriving healthcare community.
