Information for Prospective Online Students
Academic Advising & Other Student Services
Students enrolled in an online program will have access to the same advising services as campus-based students. In addition, online students will receive advising through their Online Student Services Coordinator in conjunction with the Program Director.
Administrative Support for Online Students
Queens University of Charlotte has a dedicated team committed to helping online students reach their personal, educational and professional goals. If you need help during the admissions process, one of our enrollment coordinators or admission counselors will assist prospective students with completing their application files. Once enrolled, students will be assigned either a Student Services Coordinator or an academic advisor to aid them as their primary contact. Admissions
Students interested in admission to a Queens online graduate program, including the MA in Educational Leadership, MA in Communication, MSN, or MBA, please visit Admissions Requirements for Online Graduate Programs.
Course Registration
Students will work with their Enrollment Coordinator or Academic Advisor to determine required courses and prerequisite work and register for classes. Online students are subject to the same drop/add deadlines as on-ground students. Reference the Academic Calendar for a list of important deadlines.
Everett Library
Everett Library supports and enriches the experience of Queens programs. Students can access research materials through the main library website, including books, articles, guides, tutorials, audio recordings, videos and images. Students may also contact the library at 704-337-2401 to reach a librarian for personalized assistance.
Exam Procedures
In most cases, exams are taken through the learning management system (LMS) with adherence to the guidelines of the Queens University of Charlotte honor code. Other arrangements can be made but are course specific.

On-Campus Residency / Field Work Requirements
Currently, the online MBA is the only online program with an on-campus residency component. The online MSN and MA in Educational Leadership programs do not require students to attend any on-campus activities but do require clinical or field internship requirements which students may complete in their local area subject to certain requirements. Orientation
Online students are required to attend an online orientation session specific to their field of study through the learning management system. This virtual orientation will enable students to become familiar with the MyCourses online learning platform and meet other students in their program.
