Reserved Parking

Campus Police is now responsible for reserving spaces as of September 16, 2024. You will continue to email Reserved Parking (reservedparking@queens.edu) for your requests and our parking coordinator will respond to you.

Reserved Parking Locations

A minimum of 72 business hours is required to receive your email and determine what parking arrangements can be made to accommodate your request. Please include the date, time frame, and correct spelling of the individual’s name or business.

Requests for Queens Circle

This lot is for individual guests or a group of up to 5 members, any number larger than that will be sent to the North Deck or the Soccer Lot.

Requests for Withers House Lot

This lot is for individual guests or a group of up to 5 members, any number larger than that will be sent to the North Deck or the Soccer Lot. There are a limited number of reserved spaces in that lot as it is a Commuter parking lot, and the students take precedence.

Requests for Evans Clocktower Lot

This is a temporary location only and will be in use until the McEwen construction is completed, at which time it will revert back to exclusively being Commuter student parking. This lot is for individual guests or a group of up to 5 members. Any number larger than that will be sent to the North Deck or the Soccer Lot.

There are no other locations on campus available for parking reservations.

Students are not allowed to request reserved parking spaces. If a group/club/organization would like to reserve a space, their Faculty Advisor will be responsible for that request.

Guest Day Parking Pass

For those employees who may want to have a visitor join them on campus but do not require a reserved space, you will need to come to Campus Police, located in Watkins Hall, to obtain a temporary parking pass for the day, and they will be required to park in the Soccer Lot while they are on campus.

Parking Areas for Commuters

All surface lots (Withers, Harris, Evans Clocktower, and Gambrell) and street parking (Radcliffe, Selwyn, and Wellesley) are dedicated to our Commuter students, who have paid to park there.

Please note that while the Admissions team does have reserved parking spaces in the Harris Lot, those are exclusively theirs to use, and when not in use by the Admissions team, they revert back to being strictly for our Commuter students.

Vehicle Groups Larger Than Six

While groups larger than 6 guests do not meet the requirement for a reserved space, here are the guidelines for large group parking:

  • Requests for groups 6 to 50 vehicles will be provided a punch code to access the North Deck and may be provided a PDF for their dashboard if it is determined that is required – this will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
  • Requests for groups over 50 vehicles will require that we raise the North Deck arm for the duration of the event. Please remember that if you are hosting a large event that will utilize the deck during school/work day hours, you should put a QNews notification out to the campus community to let them know that their parking may be impacted on the specific date by your event.

If you feel that your event requires a parking lot to be completely blocked off to ensure availability, you will need to contact parking@queens.edu to discuss this event at least 3 weeks in advance as there is a charge involved in having someone monitor the lot and the Chief of Police has to assign someone to take care of this.
