DICE Center Program Connections

The Royal Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Leadership Program

This leadership program is a collaborative partnership between the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and the Office of the Chaplain. The Royal Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DE&I) Leadership Program is designed to enhance your understanding of different cultures, building awareness, knowledge, and skills to interact effectively. This course challenges individuals to interrogate their own biases and is a humble acknowledgment that one cannot know everything about other cultures and recognizes that learning about other cultures is a lifelong goal and process.

The program focuses on the individual/interpersonal aspect of the DE&I framework which is about unpacking beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors – both explicit and implicit – relating to marginalized groups and the interactions we have with others not in ‘our group’.  The program is also intended to improve our interactions with others as we begin to recognize group dynamics and how we show up and interact with others in groups.
