Ripple Conference

The Ripple Conference, hosted by Elon University, is an exciting opportunity for students from across North Carolina to engage in conversations across faith identities. It involves learning in settings ranging from small to large, structured to unstructured. In addition to delving into a multitude of different traditions, and religious, spiritual, and secular worldviews, Ripple offers the chance to engage in social justice and interfaith dialogue. In smaller community groups, we share our perspectives and process the conference experience.

Students from Queens attended Ripple 2023 from February 17-19, 2023. They took a dive into the theme of Ripple 2023: Stretching the Limits of Religious Identities. This intersectional lens allowed students to cultivate deeper knowledge of the religious identities of others and themselves. According to Queens first-year student Deriq, “The Ripple Conference was one to remember. It was informative and the interactions were genuine and candid.”
