One question we always get is should parents attend ROAR? The short answer is yes! We know schedules can be busy, but we highly encourage a parent or family member to attend ROAR with their student. By attending ROAR, the student and their parent and guests will be more informed about the student experience, campus resources, and next steps for finalizing their enrollment at Queens. As a parent or family member, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about how to support and be a partner in your student’s success at Queens.

Some additional benefits of attending ROAR as a parent/family member include:

  • Getting to know key campus contacts and administrators, as well as other parents.
  • Receiving information you can utilize for future conversations with your student.
  • Becoming familiar with the campus and the Charlotte community where your student will be spending the next few years.
